Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By installing OrderWise AI (“the App”) from the Shopify App Store, you (“Merchant”, “you”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, uninstall the App immediately.
2. Service Description
OrderWise AI is an AI-powered customer support chatbot that integrates into your Shopify store. It uses your order data to provide intelligent, context-aware responses to your customers' support inquiries.
3. Pricing & Billing
- Free: 25 conversations/month, 75 AI responses/month
- Starter: $29/month — 100 conversations, 500 AI responses
- Growth: $79/month — Unlimited conversations, 5 languages, custom branding
- Plus: $199/month — Multi-store, white-label, custom AI training
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Billing is handled through the Shopify Billing API. You may cancel anytime from your Shopify admin.
4. Service Availability
We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee specific availability. In case of extended outages (more than 24 hours), affected merchants receive a pro-rata credit for the downtime period.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Send automated spam through the chat widget (rate limit: 60 requests/minute per store)
- Use the App for illegal content or products
- Resell access to the App without written permission
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits or billing
6. AI-Generated Content
Responses are generated by AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) and may occasionally contain inaccuracies. You, as the store owner, are responsible for monitoring AI conversations and ensuring accuracy of customer communications. We provide tools (the Inbox and Conversations tabs) for reviewing AI interactions.
7. Liability
Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue from incorrect AI responses.
8. Termination
You may cancel at any time from the Shopify admin. Upon cancellation:
- Service continues until end of current billing period
- Chat widget is deactivated after the period ends
- Data is deleted per our Privacy Policy
We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with 7 days notice (except for severe violations, which may result in immediate termination).
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice via email to the store owner. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. For consumers: courts at their place of residence. For business customers: Frankfurt am Main.
